What changed, and when
Because every answer cites a living regulation, this log tracks not just
features but content freshness: new question packs, corrections, and updates when a
source regulation is revised. If you find an error, the About page explains
how to report it — sourced corrections are the most valuable feedback this project gets.
v0.5 — Exam-prep release (July 2026)
- Question bank grown to 300+ across the Winemaker and WSET-style tracks.
- New content packs: German Prädikat & VDP classification, Bordeaux & Burgundy
classifications, Champagne process depth, EU horizontal law (SO₂, additives, enrichment,
2021/2117 labeling), US TTB (27 CFR), famous appellations (Champagne, Barolo, Brunello,
Prosecco, Sherry).
- Timed mock exams under real exam conditions, with a pass/fail result and mock history.
- "Am I ready?" readiness signal measured against the real pass mark.
- Goal onboarding with an exam-date countdown; practice-by-topic custom decks.
- Every non-English citation now shows an English translation beneath the original.
Known content notes (under founder review)
- Champagne citations reference the cahier des charges homologated 25 Jan 2024; a newer
homologation took effect Aug 2025 — being re-verified before paid launch.
- Franciacorta questions predate the Erbamat grape amendment; the cited facts are unchanged,
but the grape list is being reviewed.
v0.3–0.4 — Foundation (July 2026)
- Daily challenge with streak and shareable result; mistake-review deck; per-topic mastery map.
- Offline-first install (PWA), progress export/import, accessibility pass.
- Privacy policy and About pages; no accounts, no tracking, no data leaves your device.
